Holy Trinity Episcopal Church

About Us

Established in 1887, Holy Trinity has 163 active baptized members ranging from young families with infants and toddlers to active retirees.

The spirit of volunteerism, both within the parish and throughout the community, expands the influence of our parish.

In addition to a loyal and well-qualified vestry, we have a growing learning daycare for ages 6 weeks  to 5 years old (see Trinity Learning Center link) with its own board of directors; an active Altar Guild; a committed team of Lay Eucharistic Ministers and Old Testament Lectors; dedicated acolytes; devoted leaders of our Children's Church and ministry; a growing chapter of Daughters of the King and a fun-loving group called the Craft Ladies.

Our parish has officers and directors in the community's two foremost charitable organizations, the Church Service Center and the Women's Care Center, and assists in Grace Diner, a weekly community endeavor to feed "restaurant style" anyone who needs a good meal.

Our church building was designed by Nils Schweizer, who studied under renowned Architect Frank Lloyd Wright.  Our two-winged office and education complex houses the church office, Trinity Learning Center, church school, our nursery and meeting rooms.  Carleton Hall, our parish fellowship hall, serves a variety of parish and Trinity Learning Center activities, as well as community functions.  Our spacious, oak-shaded campus also has an ample playground and room for expansion.

Holy Trinity is located in Bartow, population 16,000.  It is the county seat of Polk County, population 600,000, and is poised for renewed growth, with a number of residential developments already approved by the city.  This community is committed to retaining its rural and historic ambiance, as this growth takes place.  A phrase often used to describe Bartow is  "a great place to raise a family."
